The Bears are doing ok today in their current county championship match. They've bowled Northants. out for 147 and are currently 23-1 in reply. No Oly Stone though?....
 
So The Bears chalk up a handy win on the third day of their match with Northants. winning by an innings and 48 runs.

The Bears spring back into action on Thursday with a Div. 2 match against Derbyshire at Edgbaston. Let's hope they can carry on were they left off last month...... the weather it's set fine anyway.
 
End of day 2 of the Bears current match against Derbyshire and we have our noses in front.

Derbyshire making 318 in their first innings. Bears closed last night on 375-6, so it's a case of score as many as we can today, get a good lead and see if we can shoot them out in their second innings.
 
The Bears are going well. They finished their first innings on 439 all out - a lead of 121. Derbyshire are currently 183-7, a lead of 62 with 3 wickets remaining.

Come on you Bears!
 
End of day 3. Bears 19-1 in their second innings, needing another 70 tomorrow to win. Derbyshire 209 all out in their second innings.
 
Friday 11th sees the Bears starting their next Div.2 County Championship against Northamptonshire at Edgbaston.

We've had a good start to the season, the weather has been kind too, so let's hope both continue.
 
The Bears' fine start to the season continues - they have Northants 118/7 at lunch on day one. 18-year-old Henry Brookes has taken three wickets and managed a run out. Excellent work.

Meanwhile, welcome the the test arena to Ireland, who are taking on Pakistan in their inaugural test in Dublin. No play so far though due to rain!

Unfortunately Bears let Northants off the hook. Northants finished 256 all out. In reply Bears finished 100-4.
