You all have to remember he was a million pound player bought for the championship. While he has expereince in the PL for Hull, they struggled. Sometimes I don't know what this forum expects of players. He is what he is and has largely had a positive affect on AVFC. He was part of the team that had a ten match winning streak and got us promoted.

Thank you Elmo for your continued service, continue to do your best for the team and what is asked of you.

Adds a couple extra million to his price tag for when Bruce comes knocking in January (assuming he’s still got a job at that point!)
 
If Elmo's a "Championship" player then most of the players in the PL are. He's not on the must-have list of the top 6 clubs, but he can do a job. Depends really on whether that's the job the club needs done. In our case he and Guilbert are good alternatives to have.
 
Well, I can't see us going far if this is the sort of player we'll be relying on.

Hardly cut it in the championship for me.
