Will Sissoko and Janssen follow in Ade's footsteps? Ade is a conflicting subject for Spurs supporters and has been the topic of numerous discussions on VS.

Contract lengths are a business risk, they can work for and against you.

The trick in any risk situation is to be able to mitigate your risk; clubs are quick enough to dump/sell players against their will, so we shouldn't be surprised when they dig their heels in - the worst example in recent history isn't or wasn't Ade, but was in fact Gomes, who pretty much stuck two fingers up the the club for almost 3 seasons, refused all moves and sat on his bum after we refused him a big contract pay off/subsidy....
 
and then bitched about the club and Levy afterwards! Absurd.

Was far too good a keeper to rot on the bench for the prime of his footballing life. Not top 4 standard due to his occasional howlers but ridiculous what he did to his own career. Have little respect for his behaviour personally but must admit still have a soft spot for him and have always hoped he does well at Watford as I think Harry didn't treat him very well.

I never understand why people criticize Harry for sidelining him; we had higher pretensions, we needed consistency and like any coach when push came to pull, he had to be totally single minded and ruthless, it's both the nature of the job and is part and parcel of the business.

Gomes, once he knew he wasn't no.1 should for his own careers sake move on, instead he choose to pull splinters out of his arse and take the money...

I have no respect or like left for the man after that.
