Big part of that happening will need to be him showing he is fit enough for us to commit to long term

Yes it does put in a bit of perspective doesn’t it. Also I think we know now that several of the new players are going to take time to settle in which also Nuno’s complaint about wanting them in earlier so he could them settled in

Dominguez and Elliott is a very good pairing. Luiz will need to prove his fitness for us to sign him permanently but those three are what we build on.

And have managed a handful of appearances during the most tumultuous time in recent seasons under a manager who seems to have no plan or system for playing football. It's a far better place to judge them if we can get the ship steadied, nail down our identity as a team, and climb back towards midtable obscurity.
