The 2019 Randox Grand National

That happened at the first fence though which isn’t any worse than on many other courses. I thought the injury was caused by the following horse landing on it. The race is a lot safer than it used to be

The poor horse in question (up for review) looked very ill before the race , was incredibly unsteady on its feet and had a strange demeanour, wonder If it had some sort of fit or stroke or heart problems with all the stress. It was clearly unwell and should have been withdrawn from the race immediately
