The new third kit.........Going green it seems - first time ever?

Looks like we are trying to hide in plain sight.......

New Manchester City 2017/18 third kit - "camouflage"

http://www.mcfcwatch.com/2017/03/26/revealed-new-manchester-city-201718-camoflage-inspired-third-shirt-details/

Meanwhile the second kit would appear Tom be something along a maroony-pinky sort of colour :024:

The first kit is rumoured to feature a return to sky blue shirts (featuring some maroon detailing), white shorts and sky blue socks.

Just as long as it doesn't make the current kit look good - or have me pining for the dreadful orange*/purple kit.

*I like orange as a colour - just not as a City kit.

A pic of what allegedly will be our kit next season.

( sorry posting pics is still not happening for me on iPhone, click on the jpeg below to see image )

I've seen the light, I'm ready to join the geek revolution, have to wait until summer when my current contract runs out and I'll be on android.

Let's ditch the stupid contrasting socks stuff - 'The shorts of the Manchester City 2017-2018 away kit are set to be claret, while we don't know the colors of the socks as of now.'

I'm not a fan of contrasting coloured socks, even when dressed in grown up trousers I like to be coordinated.

Marroon shorts sound interesting though.

I saw this on twitter earlier, not keen on the maroon or dark green (black)

The Maroon CT is what we used to wear in the late 60s and early 70s which is why many of us wear that maroon stripe in our scarves (mine knitting by my mum about 50 years ago.

Late 60's kit with maroon/white tops to the socks easily my favourite kit.

Need to get back to white shorts and stop looking like Coventry in disguise.

More images of the City kits for the 2017/18 season available in the links below plus the news that, contrary to previous year's, the kit will be launched much sooner, perhaps even before the end of the season.......so that's next week then.

Will the club and Nike do what other clubs and kit suppliers do? Play the final game of the current season in the new kit? Will it make a bow at Vicarge Road next weekend as we take on Watford?

Keep your eyes peeled.....

Kit date release rumour......

http://www.mcfcwatch.com/2017/05/12/manchester-city-2017-18-home-kit-gets-earlier-than-expected-release-date-plus-more-photos/

Images and mock up........

These images and especially those with the tags visible etc do make me wonder if there is some merit to the rumour.......

This looks like something one might see being worn during the Tour de France.

It can only be a matter of time before players wear lycra shorts (as opposed to being worn under football shorts), followed a couple of years later by the first footballing onesies.

Great for babies, scuba divers and sofa loafers.
