The 2 Friendlies

I know they're only friendlies, and it's still early days if you like, but apart from the first 30 mins of the Genoa game, I didn't see an awful lot to get excited about.

The 2nd game featured too many players totally not interested. The 2 Ayew brothers and Routledge whilst the inexperienced backline don't look ready to me for championship football.

We need some proper firepower up front and we don't seem to have anyone playing in between the lines. Dhanda can do it but we need more options than 1 19 year old.

Agree, pretty poor all round. Plenty of attacking intent which was good, but nobody who could score, and the penalty misses were pretty abysmal. Dhanda and Asoro stood out, but as you say too many “want outers” disinterested.
I suppose the only reason they were invited on tour was to be in the shop window.
