Temporary, pre-season rolling results thread

[Skoorb]

Somewhere to post comments on any matches during the closed domestic season as we wander around the footballing wilderness pining for real football to start again..... :043:

This thread will be frozen when the 2017/18 commences.

Nothing is forever in the world of the interweb but a fresh thread for the new season will invigorate us all. This one gives us somewhere to deposit thoughts whilst we circulate in a holding pattern waiting to land in the sunny future of the 2017/18 season.

Congratulations to the England U20s squad - World Champions :001: :001: :001:

A special mention for their manager, ex-Blue Paul Simpson :005:

David Silva scores for Spain away in Macedonia.
Priceless player for club and country.

Merlin has been substituted by Pedro on 69 mins. I think because he was booked 2 mins. beforehand, rather than an injury.
