Vital Football Hero
After this series of 5 games (between the international breaks), our form is 9th.
Looking at the form table of these last five games, one will notice that our only defeat came against Norwich (the form team with five wins from five).
The other four teams that we played are all below us in the form table (last 5 games).
Bolton 23rd
Sheff Utd 18th
Stoke 15th
Leeds 14th

To note that up there (above us), you can find:
QPR 2nd
Birmingham 4th
Preston 8th

not big hitters and teams that had to go through some serious cost cutting this summer.
If there form will continue its another matter.

Surprisingly is WBA form, before the Leeds win, this break was a disaster for them ...losing three and drawing one ..even Stoke, they only won once in this break drawing three and losing the other...

Since the start of the season we have been having 6 games (or so) and then an international break. This gives teams with small squads a chance to recuperate. Also the true cost of yellow cards hasn't started to kick in yet. Come December, players missing thru niggles, heavier grounds and an accumulation of yellows starts to take its toll. The Prestons and QPR's rely on a bit of luck as they mainly have an 18 man squad plus some homegrown youngsters playing. Versatility comes to the fore and square pegs in round holes is mentioned more frequently.
