Team vs PNE

Back from game.
Second half a tough watch but secured the points so
ready for midweek tough game at St Marys and then
onto the valley. Agree with Managers game plan.

We also now have no Chrisene.

It was horrible to watch that second half

I hope Maghoma starts in midweek.

The Saints looked good today and have pace and power. Darling really struggles against pace, and Cordoba does get into some very strange situations.

Great to have Mattsson back - I just want the season to end and summer to arrive so we can plan for that season.
 
That was the weirdest second half ever!! They had no idea at times and looked like they were strangers and I reckon even if Preston had the ball on the spot and no other player around they would have hit the corner flag such was their day for off target shooting - good for us becuase we could so have lost that had they been accurate.
What was the problem with Maghoma immediately afyer he came on - down on his back off the pitch and looking like he had a serious injury.
Then there was PC talking to a couple of players on the sideline during a lull in play, Chrisene was one I think, looking like he was telling them to go through the pain and keep playing becuase we need you. Kenny played off his injury, Cordoba did the same, Maghoma did the same, and I think Darling did too.
Three days to Southampton - the hyperbaric chamber might be in total use for the next 60 odd hours.

Yeah it was really odd. Like pc had said sit back and contain them..then on the 47th minute McLean pulled up and for a good 10 minutes the team were all over the place because they didn't seem to know what to do as their captain was injured. McLean looked done and like you say pc was then seemingly asking chrisene and I think Gibbs to cover more ground as McLean is screwed...then what do you know chrisene pulls up as his hamstring are so weak.

Darling hurt his knee and was hobbling a bit at the end, Cordoba looked drunk in second and looked to have hurt his leg.

Maghoma got pulled over I think and landed hard on the surface and wasn't himself afterwards.

Imagine losing all them we'd be like this

I hadnt realised that darling was 'local' from Cambridge...well close. He sent time in Newmarket as a youngster
 
I wouldn't be against pc slowly giving ozcan time in at left back. It seems we are safe so start giving him some time...last 10 minutes here, then 15 mins etc

He is a player highly rated and has had scouts watching.

He's 18 but given him some game time. Or look at under 21 left back Williams who has pro Game time whilst on Loan at Wroxham

Agreed.

Furthermore as we get nearer to the end of the season I hope they give one of our young right backs some time, e.g., Adelusi and some of our midfielders, e.g., Baumann or DJ.

I trust in PC. to "blood" our youngsters when its appropriate.

He does not appear to be very well informed does he.
Our family uses the train to Liverpool Street a lot and these engineering works are extremely annoying but well documented.
For example 4 of our group of 6 going to Charlton next Saturday are going by train. I checked a while ago and it was the case of going via Ely into Kings Cross.
Very inconvenient and costs rise for that inconvenience but most economical solution was a group 4 open return and I bought tickets over 3 weeks ago.

2 of us have tickets for test match v NZ at Oval in June.
I will buy train tickets at end of month ( 12 weeks in advance ) to get best deal and will then find out what if any disruptions there are.
