I forgot Emi was on the bench. Really odd to give neither of them a chance. PC clearly prefers bigger players.

That was an awful game and we should have just smashed them but pc sat back and treated it as a preseason game, which makes sense losing Cordoba and toure he wanted to keep kvistgaarden fit.
 
Toure injury looks bad according to pc

He says that medic is the back up forward. He has been practicing shooting and was a forward as a young boy.

Id prefer a youngster as back up.

Sheffield Wednesday have 19 players out and have dipped into free transfer market...we never seem to do that bar emi
 
That was a minimum result given the opposition. SW are thoroughly demoralised. No matter what they do, they are relegated and are getting ready for league one football. From what I’ve seen today they will struggle.
We should have put five or six goals past them and yet could only manage two. Yes, I know about all the injuries but the fact remains that our players have a deal more ability than any of those Sheffield Wednesday ones. In the second half we failed to take advantage of our opportunities time and time again.

Agreed we did sweet f all in second half. Like pc had said just take it easy. Against Leicester we can't be as lax and I doubt we will be but tonight like again Brum we started so slowly.

I think chrisene will be back at left back. But Gibbs as a winger...he must be bloody brilliant in training. He is so good that he was playing left wing in the second half.

Ahmed like forson will need to get some muscle on him
 
Ahmeds dropped off a bit lately - the commentators were saying that is darting runs when he forst played caused havoc but now he turns back and back passes and thinks twice about attacking yet Paris just goes for it and uses his trickery. I wonder if Ahmed is being cautious becuase he doesnt want to get injured?.
 
He still attempts the darting runs but is now getting less service. When he does have the ball other players are hanging back instead of finding space to press an attack. Opposition teams have cottoned to his threat and he has two or three players close marking/fouling him.
 
Second half was a tough watch.
Chap who sits behind me and I have known for years make a good point at full time. What is better ?
1 Win 4. 0. and possibly pick up another injury.
2 Win 2.0 and not risk injury to few key players we have left currently fit.
