Trouble is that wanting to be in the Championship means praying we lose more games than we win so there is no danger of going up , and I just can’t do that !

We should NEVER want to stay in a lower league and always strive to be the best.

The problem is the Smiffs do not have that opinion.
Their ownership of the club is more important to them than having success.

Exactly . They will be dreading going up as it will mean their total lack of ambition being laid bare once again

How can any fan think it’s more fun in the Championship , because if that’s what they believe then they must be praying that we lose every game from now until the season so we we stay in the ‘fun’ Championship next season . What sort of fan is that ?

There can be no excuse of going up too early as was used last time.
This is the big chance to stay up as the plan cannot be to go up and down
for a long period of time. If we do go up and come down it will be sickening for us all and all our best players will leave.
We are relying on our best players to be top of the league and without them we can have a good hard long look at the squad and having the bit part players in starting XI will result in mid table at best.

Current squad even with max and skip in it would see us go down.
Id like us to take wiltshire on 1yr deal if bmouth dont make. I know his injury record is bad but even if you got half a season out of him it cld be invaluable
