Team v hull

FT 2-1.

Yep well thats that - City for all teir possession can lose games because they dont shoot and mess around at the box - Hull transitioned much better bering down on goal into the box - we just skirted the outside of theirs.
 
And now we retire to do other things we have avoided by watching City - hopefully the weather will improve, the rain stops the winds die down and my poor boat can get its pyjamas of and take me out for a bloody good fish!!!!
 
Hull fans acting like morons at the end of the game. Pitch invasion then antagonizing the Norwich fans and crowding players and staff who had gone to the fans.

True.

2 cricket trips in England ( one after new season starts ) and then off to South Africa at very start of 2027 for test matches and one dayers.

CC heaping praise on Ben Knapper. I know almost nothing about that side and have refrained from passing judgment. Several on this forum have expressed opinions; are there any changed minds?
 
Disappointing end to the season . Stock Car season is in full swing so it’s off to the Caister Road stadium all summer for me !

Rex. I am no wiser than yourself on that side and it is unlikely to change as Knapper never speaks.
However I would still like confirm that I have not changed my mind.
My reasons are that we finally attracted new owners with adequate wealth ( which enabled the Sargent situation to be resolved on our terms and sign striker in advance of a sale for max fee ) and also have what appears to be a very good manager who has got the best out of an injury ravaged squad.
If we sign a few more good players and retain our improving existing players the squad will also be good.
That leaves one weak link. Knapper. He made 2 huge errors in appointing poor managers and third time lucky does not make him any better.
As I said I know little of behind the scenes but it does appear that big Phil is the dominant force behind selecting players he does and does not want in addition to looking into the medical staff.

I am glad I did not listen to CC as I seldom do as Buttler is poor and the callers often make crazy comments as Knapper needs to go and not be praised for missing out on top 6 in what is a very weak league this season ( take Hull for example ).
 
Thanks for that DG. I did wonder about the random success scenario although there were some comments about BK’s selection of players being much better than originally expected. Also Mark Attanassio was on explaining his backing of BK.
 
I went and the second half we just looked like a LM side.

Next season we can't have a Gibbs, forson as wingers... Maghoma is not a winger, Stacey can't be a starting right back, fisher shouldn't be playing left back.

We need to learn to hit the ball.fuesr time, learn to cross.

Ahmed looked to have done his hammy too.

I am old fashioned ( which is why I am struggling in my job at nearly 2 years beyond retirement and dealing with inexperienced, lazy, hiding behind keyboard and out of a text book attitude staff ) but I believe that if you are supposedly the owners representative then you need to lead from the front. Knapper does not lead as he is at the back.
I have no respect for him and if we are to be successful he needs to be released now. Of course it will not happen but there is no need to praise him as he is responsible for this season's failure to reach the top 6 when even poor sides like Hull have done it.
 
True YB, very true. However the recovery from potential relegation has been amazing.
