Takeover ???

McCabe selling his book reckons we would have had a 45k stadium by now if he had won the court case, I doubt it myself as he wouldn’t sign off the signings Chris wanted so doubt we would have got promoted in the first place so as he says where was the money going to come from 🤷‍♂️
Interesting to note that a law has been brought in to stop how the yanks bought Burnley, didn’t know that 😬 just makes me think that was a bullet dodged

We could have had 10,000 empty seats every Saturday...but we'll never know one way or the other... If my Auntie had bollocks she could have been my Uncle, or maybe she would still have been my Auntie. Its a lot more complicated than it used to be.

I wonder if owd TT will be buyin Mr McCabes book?:giggle: UTB

A 45,000 stadium would be a waste.

What should be the focus is quality, not capacity. Start with the Kop.

If McCabe hadn't made his millions in the building trade he could have made billions in agriculture. He produces enough horse shit every time he wobbles his gob to feed every crop in the world.

His time at United was crippled by his own negativity, poor decision making, greed and lack of ambition.

45000 Stadium will at some time be necessary.
Maybe to house all the diversity that S24SU is desperate for?

Mmmm. Get them all in. Yummy.

Some always forget the £6m per year he paid in to keep us going during the early years Raum.

Was banned from there years ago for calling Egan, "Our Paddy". Waste of space forum. As for " Sheffield’s population of white men isn’t growing significantly", maybe we need to get our own Stud, RC, to sort this out.

He's busy 'servicing' villages near Rotherham.... Don't look at me either. Mrs had me down the vet the week after our third was born.

McCabe is a bitter twisted individual who tried to fight fire with fire and got burnt.

A narcissist elegantly portrayed in Justice Fancourts judgement. Despite his own legal advice to the contrary he pursued a fraud agenda against the Prince. He was told there was a high probability he would lose the Court case but still went ahead and then had the audacity to try sue his legal team and failed again.

It cost him millions yet never once did he question his own judgement, living in his own deluded world.

It seems he's at it again in his book. To suggest the ground capacity would have been extended to 45,000 under his continued tenure is ludicrous. He'd already done a deal to sell us to ALK Capital in the event he'd won the court case. The same ALK who have loaded £90 million in debt onto Burnley with the club having to organise a fire sale of assets this summer.

McCabe started well at SUFC built the academy and improved the ground. Unfortunately his personality and desire to put himself and his business first to the detriment of SUFC took hold over the years selling the clubs family silver to himself on the back of numerous loans rather than seek alternative serious investment. When it came along in the form of the Prince his concept of a partnership was him calling all the shots with the Prince in the background doing as he was told provided he consistently came up with the reddies. When the supply was cut off as a result of his behaviour he screamed foul and connived to oust his partner doing underhanded deals behind his back.

He really needs to let it go but he won't as his perceived injustice in his own little world where even a high court judge is incompetent will continue to fester. As a work of fiction his book may be an entertaining read. It certainly won't represent the true facts of the matter.

We remember. Which makes it even stranger why this very rich man couldn't keep James Beattie for an extra 6 months, repeatedly sold players for under their market value, refused to fund the Hogan and Madine loans and needed to bring a financial partner on board to drag us out of league one.

After the 2019 promotion McCabe's plan was to give Wilder a budget of 20M, force Abdullah out and sell up to ALK. People can draw their own conclusions but the court reports laid bare what sort of man McCabe is.
