Takeover ???

I will believe it when I see it. Alot depends on Abdullah's valuation. It should not be more than circa £90 million.
It would explain why he has suddenly decided to keep hold of Beerschot.

Or it’s just the annual takeover rumour just before the transfer window opens so he can use the excuse not to buy anybody 🫤
Yep that's what I think, he's playing us for mugs again then there'll be an influx of 4th choice 3rd rate players near the end of the window. The die has been set more than once, if I'm wrong I'll apologise, but it's my (perceived) thoughts that they think they think they can play us like this that really pisses me off. It's more what we'd expect in politics. Sound bytes to calm the masses before the inevitable "We tried but..." is wheeled out or it's never mentioned again. :censor:

It's funny this has come out just weeks after the ST renewals.

Anyway, I'm sure it'll all go through in 3 weeks and propel us to automatic promotion next season.

The history of the Blades board over many years selling our best players, crowd favourites by all our fans who make going to BDTBL are just to many to mention. My earliest example is when they agreed to sell the BRILLIANT Jimmy Hagan to the pigs but that did,nt happen because Jimmy told them, "To get f..ked!"

The news has now changed from talks at an advanced stage to initial discussions. It goes without saying there are other interested parties 😂. Even if there is some truth in this the whole process takes months. Nothing to see here, back to free transfers and trying to find a few rough diamonds.

It'll all come out in't wesh as they used to say mi owd pal.UTB

Alex Sabella,Birchenall,(Sherman the tank) Bernard Shaw who eventually ended up at the pig farm! midfield buzz saw Willie Carlin, Simon Stainrod another who ended up at the pig farm, Walker and Norton.Biggest laff was Withe who was on loan at Birmingham but allowed to play at the Lane and scored to help the Blades get relegated. England winger Colin Grainger sold to Sunderland, the list goes on and on, hence our title, "The Bread and drippin club". Wonder if our tea lady has a new apron yet?

Stand corrected, but I think Withe scored both goals 😊 sometimes it just makes you wonder why we keep coming back for more punishment 😂. Willie Carlin ( great midfielder) was sold to Derby who went on to win the league, you just couldn't make it up!

There maybe some truth this time round that there is a credible buyer simply because money has been spent, two years late, on appointing a third party consultant to manage the process. Whether that transfers into a sale going through remains to be seen. Potential buyers will have sat in the background waiting for relegation to bid at a more realistic price than what has been previously quoted.

The price and whether the Prince wants to cling on in a reduced capacity will delay matters. All the guff coming out from supposed ITK's and local media should be ignored as no one at the Club will know whats going on due to confidentiality clauses. The overseas board will be dealing with this not Bettis or anyone else at the Lane.

Based on the indecision and reactive environment perpetuated by the current regime I give this a 50/50 chance of this happening at all. The real question is if there is concrete interest does the break clause in the managers contract become more of an issue than it previously was.

Whatever the case this will not happen soon as the new owners will have to be signed off by the EFL and that takes months rather than weeks to conclude.
