Well the U.S. guys said they had a deal agreed ready to sign on 22nd December

Back then we were 6 points clear of relegation and still in the FA Cup

Now we are 2 points above relegation

If I'm advising the yanks I would knock 10m off the bid

If Fawaz delays any further they may as well withdraw the offer and go after another club in the Championship not in danger of relegation

Or I f they REALLY want us wait til end of season when if we are somehow safe in this League they could buy us at close to current price less value of any players Fawaz fire sales

Or take us for nothing when we would most likely be relegated

Every day this deal doesn't get done our value is decreasing big time

Surely Fawaz must understand that?

What's not definitive?
 
Our competitors are signing our potential targets. Our players are being touted to others by agents. Our players are being touted to clubs by our owner. Our relegation competitors will be stronger, we'll be weaker come the end of the month.

There's no noise or whispers in the media about the identity of this DOF who's waiting in the wings nor any regarding a new coach.

The current coach hasn't even spoken to the yanks, let alone discuss strategies with them.

It had to happen this week IMO for us to salvage the season.

We're fooked now.
 
And we have a potential manager (rowett) who has potential signings in mind who are signing for others in the meantime

I saw a Rowett interview yesterday where he mentioned talking to a player who was about to sign for QPR where he said "any chance you could wait til ive got my next job"

How can new owners even contemplate risking big money on us when we are in real danger of relegation now and they've got next to no time to do anything about it?

Any deal surely must hinge on payments being held back or reduced drastically if we go down?
