My Surgeon told me everybody over 55 should have their Aorta checked especially males I was lucky a lot are not.

Agreed. I had mine checked a couple of years ago. My practice invites everyone over 65 for a check up. I was bang in the median range and they said they wouldn't need to see me again. My girlfriend was very relieved as her husband died from an aneurism of the aorta.
