The managerial crisis of Luke Williams’ own making has got out of hand and the situation has now manifested itself into effecting team performance.

There’s no excuse for yesterday’s shambles. Williams sets them up to play one way only and his naive tactics and bizarre substitutions are partly to blame. Coupled with the speculation that he’s on his way to the Baggies, and bookies favourite for the job, it’s no wonder team performance dropped.

It comes after he openly touted himself for the West Brom job and then denied that he has been contacted. His feeble post-match comments yesterday have only added fuel to the fire.

All the goals conceded were through individual mistakes, Cullen dispossessed 1-0, Tymon failing to clear 2-0, Fulton needless foul 3-0, Christie dispossessed 4-0.

Ironically we play the instigators of this crisis, West Brom, in two days. What team will turn up on the day and whether Williams will still be in charge, who knows.

Luke doesn't know what tactics are keith. i'm sure he just puts the team out there and hopes for the best.

The teams:

Swansea:
Vigouroux, Key, Christie, Darling, Tymon, Franco, Grimes, Ronald, Cullen, Eom
Subs:
Allen, Bianchini, Fulton, Abdulai, Lloyd, McLaughlin, Naughton, A-0n, Harris

WBA:
Palmer, Styles, Heggem, Holgate, Furlong, Diakite, Molumby, Johnston, Grant, Wallace, Maja
Subs:
Bartley, Cole, Diagana, Fellows, Mowatt, Racic, Swift, Taylor, Wildsmith

Swansea 1 (Allen 92’) - West Brom 1 (Fellows 66’)
A hard fought game. Baggies were the better side - mostly. Swans had a few chances but once again couldn’t take them, although you could say the same about West Brom, who were fast on the break and caught us out quite a few times. It wasn’t until the 66’ that the deadlock was broken, sub Fellows firing home after another breakaway
Bearing in mind the countless times we’ve conceded in the final minutes it was very satisfying to reverse the trend, sub Joe Allen heading in from Ronald’s cross to shock the Baggies, who thought the games was in the bag, excuse the pun.
