Swans v Wycombe

It’s Wycombe up next at the Liberty on Saturday, an early kick off at 12:30.
We welcome back ex-Swan and fans favourite Adebayo Akinfenwa, who played for us from 2005-2007.
He scored on his debut for us against Tranmere in League One and it was the first competitive goal scored by the Swans at the newly opened Liberty Stadium.
Now in the twilight of his career, 6’1” and 16 stone, FIFA 21 rated strongest player in the world , “Bayo” can bench press 400lb. He even has his own clothing company Beast Mode On and his autobiography was published in 2017 called The Beast: My Story. He has recently been in talks with WWE regarding a professional wrestling career!
Last away match bottom club Wycombe won at third from bottom Rotherham 0-3.

We know all about losing at home to clubs near the bottom, previously Huddersfield and last home game Preston, so nothing taken for granted, especially in this league.

No offence to wycombe but this should be a game we win quite comfortably, especially given our recent newly found form.

HT: 0-0
Awful first half, we can’t string two passes together, back to our bad ways.
Clueless against weak opposition.

These players ought to be ashamed of themselves, there’s no fight in them. Wycombe dispossess us every time we have the ball.
They have no idea.
76’ Sub Routledge subbed for Cullen

FT: 2-2
Very, very disappointing, should have been 3 points, simple fact is we are not good enough, especially against any team with fight in them, as has been shown time and time again this season.
Wycombe will feel they’d done enough to win this game.

Ayew definitely out of QPR match on Tuesday, but it’s too soon to know the full extent of his hamstring injury. Not what we need at this crucial time, but the cause of the injury is probably overplaying him.
Cooper matched Wycombe’s 3-4-1-2 formation and it didn’t work.
Wycombe were quicker to every ball, dispossessed us too easily and chased and harried us until we lost possession. Our passing was too hurried and inaccurate and they pressed us high so that we passed back to Woodman for him to hump out and we lose possession.
Cooper’s post-match comments: "I think it's a missed opportunity. We are at home and the objective was to win, but we knew they needed to win today as well. We didn't play well in the first half, we didn't make enough passes. The start of the second half was really poor. I was disappointed to say the least. But the players showed a lot of heart and courage and some good play to get back in the game. We shouldn't lose sight of that. In the end, it leaves you with real mixed emotions.
It's about looking after your own business. You can look at it as a point closer to Watford. I've always said, whatever is left to play for, we are going to go for it."
