It’s crunch time with ten games left. We have a tough run in but with other teams around us stumbling, now is the time to go on a run. Latest example was last night’s shock 0-3 win by Millwall at high flying Forest. Millwall who had scored only 3 goals in the last 7 games were 3 goals up in the first half an hour thanks to a hat-trick by Matt Smith.
West Brom have lost their last two games, at home 0-1 to Wigan last Sat and a Cup defeat at home to Newcastle 2-3 mid-week after making 9 changes to the team that lost to Wigan, obviously resting players for the Swans match.
If we stop conceding those silly last minute goals we can do this, now is our time if we are to do anything this season.

The odds are stacked against us but I’m still hoping for an upset.
We won five of the first six Championship games this season, putting us top of the league. Since then, we've won only eight of the following 30 league games, with only three teams winning fewer games in this time.
Swansea have lost their past three league games against West Brom, scoring twice and conceding 10 goals across those defeats.
Against sides currently occupying the Championship's top half, Swansea are winless in 10 matches since a 1-0 win over Cardiff City in October.

Steve Cooper:
"We don't want to sing and dance about a draw at home, but at the same time there were a lot of positives to come out of the game that can help us in the final run-in. We can be optimistic, we are down a place in the league and a point closer to the play-offs, that sums up the Championship doesn't it? It's nine games to go, 3 points away from getting over the dotted line, there are worse places to be. I think about some of the teams who are below us who would do anything to be in the position we are in. We are only thinking really positively and we are going for this."
Slaven Bilic:
"We aren't over the moon, but it's a tough place to come because they have a team who have been very unlucky with recent results. It's good to get the clean sheet with a solid performance and to more or less control the game, but we know have to be better in terms of quality in the final third. That's what was missing today. I would love to be on the top spot but it doesn't worry me. The results apart from Leeds and Brentford were okay. At this stage of the season, the results around you affect the valuation of the point. Considering the bigger picture, this was a good point."

WBA sacrificed top spot to Leeds, who beat Huddersfield 2-0 at Elland Road, after failing to beat us yesterday.
Our defence was solid today and held strong against the division’s top scorers, in fact we had the better chances, Fulton squandering a possible brace.
Amazingly six teams from 6th to 11th in the table teams are in the mix for the last play-off spot, only 3 points separating them, with nine games left.
We drop one place to 11th in the table after our hard fought draw, but surprisingly shorten the gap to a play off place to only 3 points with 6th place Preston losing at home 1-3 to QPR.
Fulham stay in 3rd place after drawing 1-1 at Bristol with a late equaliser.
Brentford are in 4th place after hammering Gary Monk’s Sheff Wed 5-0 at Griffin Park.
Forest drop to 5th after losing at home to 8th place Millwall 0-3 on Fri night.

Out of our 22 man squad Routledge, Byers, Celina, Garrick, and Hoorn are injured leaving 17 fit players.
Yesterday we only had six subs as we were unable to name a seventh substitute. Guehi as the fifth loan player couldn’t be picked, we’re only allowed select four loanees in the match day squad to play at any one time. There’s an outbreak of Mumps in the U-23’s squad and they have been isolated from the first team so though available we couldn’t use any of their players and therefore had to make do with six subs.

Derby 3 - Blackburn 0 this afternoon.
Blackburn had the chance to take the 6th play-off spot from Preston with a win but failed badly.
They remain above us on goal difference on 53 points, with Derby sprinting up with a late surge on 51 points.
