Sat 27th June 12:30 kick off
Tomorrow sees competitive football resume once again at the Liberty Stadium, albeit behind closed doors, in our mini-season of nine games to complete the virus interrupted 2019-20 Championship season.
It’s all to play for with the prize a play-off position in the table and a chance for third place and promotion to the Premier League.
We are one point off 6th place, the last play-off spot, after an emphatic win at Middlesboro last week. It’s very competitive up there with several teams bunched
together vying for that final play-off place, so it won’t be easy.
We just have to try and keep winning every match and see where that takes us.
Team news, the five players out of contract, Wayne Routledge, Nathan Dyer, Mike van der Hoorn, Kyle Naughton and Erwin Mulder were due to be out of contract on June 30.
That would have meant they would have been unable to play a part in Swansea’s final six fixtures of the Championship run-in, plus any potential play-off games.
They have all agreed terms through to August 4, the date of the Championship play-off final.
On the injury front van der Hoorn is in full training again but Luton is too early for him as he builds up fitness after a long lay off. Rodon is available after missing last week’s match with a thigh injury. Byers is back after being out long term, coming on as sub in last week’s win. Naughton is also back after injury, passing a late fitness test at Middlesboro to make the subs bench.

Team news, Swans line-up unchanged from last week:
Swansea City: Freddie Woodman; Connor Roberts, Ben Wilmot, Ben Cabango, Jake Bidwell; Jay Fulton, Matt Grimes (captain); Aldo Kalulu, Conor Gallagher, Andre Ayew; Rhian Brewster.
Substitutes: Erwin Mulder, Kyle Naughton, Joe Rodon, Marc Guehi, George Byers, Yan Dhanda, Wayne Routledge, Jordon Garrick, Nathan Dyer.
Luton Town: Simon Sluga, Dan Potts, Sonny Bradley (captain), Matty Pearson, Elliot Lee, Harry Cornick, Glen Rea, Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu, Cameron Carter-Vickers, James Collins, Jacob Butterfield.

Substitutes: Martin Cranie, Ryan Tunnicliffe, Callum McManaman, Danny Hylton, Andrew Shinnie, George Moncur, Izzy Brown, James Bree, James Shea.

Disappointing, shocking, embarrassing, a 0-1 defeat to bottom club Luton, who had conceded a massive 72 goals this season.
Typical Swansea who always flatter to deceive, you just knew this was going to happen.
This team is not going anywhere judging on that performance.

Should we have expected it. Well, remember Stoke bottom of the table coming here and winning 0-1 earlier in the season with the same manager Nathan Jones.
He’s got our number and taken 6 points off us this season!
What was of most concern to me was we could have been playing until next week and not score, that’s how hopeless we were.
