Swansea v Coventry
It was the first win in 9 years at the Hawthorns, well done Swansea..
It was also the first of 6 matches in 20 days -
Sat 5/3 v Coventry (h)
Tue 8/3 v Fulham (h)
Sat 12/3 v Blackpool (a)
Wed 16/3 v Peterborough (a)
Sat 19/3 v Birmingham (h)
How are we going to avoid this third match in a week losing syndrome?
Obviously RM is aware of the issue and last night the team stayed over in Birmingham to avoid the late night travel home after the game.
Whether this helps or not we’ll see on Saturday, and with table toppers Fulham the visitors three days later it’ll be interesting to see what team he selects. With such a weak squad after dumping ten players in January we wish him luck with that.
In the reverse fixture against Coventry last November we came out 1-2 winners with early goals from Paterson and Piroe.
Coventry are in 10th position in the table and 3 points off the last play-off position in this their second season in the Championship after gaining promotion.
In their last away game they beat Bristol City 1-2, ex-Swan Viktor Gyokeres scoring a late winner. The away match before that they lost 2-0 to Cardiff City.

Almost forgot about Jake Bidwell, I hope he doesn’t come back to haunt us. Good solid pro and always gave 100%.
