The Supporting Our Own fundraising is now at the small grant stage, you can read (and apply) for where the money will go.

[The Fear]

This is where your money is going from the fundraising. Chuffed they have asked me to sit on the panel to make the final decisions. They also asked what area I'd like the grants to go to and I chose sports facilities and clubs because they are often overlooked and in the less well off areas they are a crucial link to keep the youngsters off the street and to give older people a place to go and something to focus on.

[The Fear]

Nice to know they want to involve the people raising money (or at the moment the person, but anyone can do this!) in how the money is spent. Makes it so much more worthwhile and interesting. Especially as the marathon was fecking agony for my dodgey pegs!
