Sunderland v Villa, Tues. 6th March 7:45pm kick off...hopefully.

Pride of Lions

I am now official
Ok, so we go again.

Hopefully Jack will be fit by Tuesday, so what do we think? Will the match be on or off? Will Jack play? Will we win? Questions, questions and even more questions......

:94:

It will definitely be on. They have played better recently but I can still see us coming out as easy winners 3-1 to us.

Not often I say this before a match about the opposition.

But, they are chuffing awful.

No excuses.

Completely forgot about this game. I was thinking we had a clear week now to sort out the injury problems, but not so.
Normally I could see this game being a banana skin, and as said above, they have played a bit better, scraped together three draws in the last five, but if we are going to go up we have to win this game.
This will be a huge game for their fans, they would love to put one over us, but I dont think it will happen.
A tight game with us taking it 0-1.

We'll batter them. Sunderland are one of the worst teams in living memory and there is no question they will join Small Heath in heading into League One.

We will give them a helping hand on Tuesday by winning 3-0 with Hourihane, Hogan and Grealish on target.

Have to do a three things we need to do to beat Sunderland.

Any thoughts?

We could also do a three things Sunderland could do to stop Aston Villa!

1/Start on the front foot and take advantage of their dreadful home form.

2/Tighten up at the back a bit.

3/If fit , give Super Jack an hour which would then set him up nicely for the Wolves game.

Took the words out of my mouth, Sir Dennis.

We need to start strongly - they are utterly dreadful and will cave under pressure. We have to keep focused all over the pitch, and it would be ideal to give Jack and Uncle Albert and hour or so - build a two or three goal lead then rest the key men ahead of Saturday.

Hope Bjarnason gets a look in but I fear we'll be too cautious.

It's fine margins.

Best case scenario we close within a point of Cardiff by the end of the night.

Worst case we are 7 points behind 2nd and in 5th. :10:

We need to be bang at it.

I'm with ASPINALL on this.

Sunderland are bound to up their game, so we must meet them toe to toe. We need to be on the front foot from the first whistle and keep it there...... not letting them get into the game.

If we do that, we should be ok.

They are all hard games at this stage of the season.

It is folly to look atthe fixtures and say that one is easy or this one is easy. The same applies to the teams around us as well.

Blimey some negative people on here , we'll piss this . easy game as soon as we score they'll fold like a deck of cads they are utter tripe .
Jack will be back and Alberto and we won't have to suffer the the turgid shite of the last 3 games :17:

I don’t think this will be as easy as many think, I think it will be a real dog fight of a game with a narrow 2-1 win
