Sunday Mail article, worth a read.

This feels a bit like waking up in a parallel universe. A fair and balanced article that doesn’t lay the success this season soleły at the amount of money spent. All I have been asking for.

Rob Draper was making similar noises on Sunday Supplement recently, so fair play to him for putting it in writing. Perhaps he could have a word with the moronic scrum at the Fail who wrote that garbage piece about Raheem Sterling daring to eat breakfast?

Great to see Pep being vindicated about the role of the keeper - he was roundly pilloried for that idea (& not just because of the difficulties Bravo encountered). Excellent to see it highlighted that City have succeeded without a superstar like Messi or Ronaldo- emphasis on team work and players adhering and believing in the philosophy and each other. Also like the comment about the record compared to the invincible - they may have gone unbeaten but they ground out some dire draws and 1-0 wins.

All in all nice to see some sensible writing and less frothing “it’s all about the money”

Let’s ram home the difference

What strikes me about the 'Invincibles' is that they could have drawn all their games, gone the season unbeaten and got relegated on 38 points.

The Mail is still shit.
