Summer transfer thread

The problem at Villa is that the players are on such good money few championship clubs can afford it. The only realistic option is to do what we did with Newcastle and Murphy. Villa would have to pay off the contract using half of the money gained from the sale to get rid. Some bargains are to be had but they will all be late in the window. Personally I would go for Kodja. But would be happy with the two suggested by Ozzyten10. We are being greedy and getting carried away with this window though. Why not the two Harry's

He had one decent game, I believe it was against Brentford. A few tried to make me eat humble pie, but in the end my superior football knowledge paid off Basha, and his shit.

Im still undecided on the Portuguese lads. I dont want to be Buzz Killington, but until they step on the grass and kick a ball in a competitive match, i'm not going thrapse my owd lad.
 
He looked decent a couple of times but never much more than that and it was mainly an inability to keep up with the pace of games. There’s a good level of technical skill there but it’s the application.

The new guys have potential but that’s all it is until they show it on the pitch. I am quietly hopeful but that’s all so far. Tough first months fixtures too so we will know more pretty quickly.
 
What players has Karanka bought that have looked poor, even when free or at a million squid? 15million euros on this guy. Twice our transfer record, twice what we paid for an in-demand striker. He has to be one of the best players in the league, we should expect it in reality. I think anything less would be suggesting that we spend 15million on a whim, on a player that 'might', that Randal, Marianakis and the boss are 'hoping'. No chance, he must be bloody good.

Good to hear that all kids and coach are now rescued. 3 British divers leading, supported amongst others by Aussie divers and specialist doctor who checked all the kids in the cave in each case before they were taken out.

There's more to life than football.
