In fairness to Bruce he’d been a good un (for PNE?) ..,but yes..he was certainly ’on the downslope’ by the time he came to us

His best returns were before injuries…and I think he’s had a couple of bad/lengthy ones.

Certainly got better experience/pedigree than what we have but at 34 and with injury issues? That said I guess he won’t prove expensive in terms of wages or necessarily get a deal beyond the current season, which mitigates the risk somewhat
 
So we now have 2 unhappy. Players. On the books. Fox and. Darcy think Darcy is digging his heals in a bit. And probably. Wants. His contract paying. Up. That will probably be what happens. Fox I would imagine he’s one of the better earners. That Darcy. Must. Be absolutely crap. If he can’t. Get a bench. Place here. Hes contracted June 27; Signed by. Maloney. Fox also. Has a year left.

Really i don't think you would get half as much hostility towards the dansons his last season for us the first season of maloneys I thought he was decent he is a far better bet than our trio of conference level forwards him and saydee wouldn't be a bad front combo probably keep us up

Knowing the personality you are after hearing your impassioned reply at the Fans 'Atmosphere' meeting, then I get some of the stuff you push back on, the questions you ask posters about the things they post, but not everything needs to be questioned just because you don't agree with it. Yes some 'rants' & 'unfounded claims' may well need clarification but in moderation- surely. You're a big personality but it wouldn't hurt to maybe chill a little at times.....Frank will be back soon 😉

A minor fall of 0.03% to 5.19 on the ten year gilts on opening. Way up on the 5.09% at close last week. Remind me again what they were under Truss?

I was going to create one last update on the squad, and I do think it's helpful to have a place where we can talk about the relative strengths/weaknesses of the squad in general. It's really not the place to be discussing macroeconomics.

If you do that Pubey would it be possible to include last seasons squad just after the close of the transfer Window, we can discuss strengths and weaknesses as you say but we can also look at them compared to where we were at this stage last season, ie areas were we could be stronger or perhaps weaker.
