Summer Transfer Rumours Thread

That's a surprise with a new house in FY6
At the age of 34, after many years in the midfield engine room, many wouldn’t begrudge the recently released Charlie Adam hanging up his boots and calling it a day. However, The Courier reports that the former Scotland midfielder is “locked in” talks about a last hurrah with Dundee.
The 26-cap Scotland international is a free agent after being let go by Reading after one season at the club. Before that, the Dundee-born midfielder had a seven-year stretch at Stoke City where he made 179 appearances for the Potters, scoring 22 goals and creating 17 assists.

His first big break in English football came at Blackpool after Adam joined them from Rangers. The 35 goals and 22 assists in just 98 game prompted a £7.6m move to Liverpool where he stayed for one season, scoring two goals and adding 10 assists before his move to Stoke City.

Interesting we are targetting a RB.
Husband nails the LB spot in the current squad however I feel that NC has him as CH/ CH cover.
No news on that Demitri? Thought he impressed in both games at LB

Nixon also confirms we are still interested in a foreign CB but doesn't know who. I don't see Husband as a centre back

Might be a doubt over Mitchell with the injury that kept him out for a year. He may also be too expensive - he was training with Sunderland but moved on to us. The cap is a factor obviously.

Sunderland have had loads of players training with them or in discussions. A few that were expected to sign haven't as yet because of their difficilties with the salary cap. Don't forget they had a big squad on good wages, so most of their existing players will all be classified as average salary, leaving little room for manoeuvre for signings like Danny Graham. We seem to have got a gem from them in Liam Robson

Ethan Robson ;)

I agree, was he really not good enough for them?
