Summer 2026 Transfers

I can see him getting offers in the summer, but in my opinion, he would get found out a lot more in the Premier League.

I like him and love how he throws himself into challenges.

If the club sold Fisher, then they'd best get a player like him.

To kick this off, Everton and a few other Prem clubs are looking to sign Kellen Fisher, various reports

Everton and Newcastle have been linked to him in previous windows.

I see Man City are geting linked with Newcstle's full back 23 yer old Liv..... valued at £70m!

Fisher £30m and not a penny less!

BTW a Fisher transfer may explain why we extended Stacey's contract so wouldnt lose both RB's in the same transfer window.

Do you think PC and Norwich will go back for Hogh?

They are not doing well in the league and will probably not get any European football next season and he wanted (isn't that what PC said) to come even with them in the champions league. He is the type of player PC likes

Or will he go with Crnac, Makama, Troue

I mean he needs to be sure of their fitness.

I think Crnac would be a beast of a forward under PC

So, confirmed that Emi is leaving at the end of the season.

Emi said:

'I started out playing under him when he first arrived. I did okay as well, and I managed to score and provide assists. As soon as we hit the new year and the transfer window opened, it was a pretty clear signal being sent to me. I had a conversation with Philippe, and they said they would not extend my contract this summer, so they would focus on the players they have now, and therefore, I wouldn’t really be in consideration anymore. They told me I was free to explore my options and try to move already in January. I wasn’t in the squad at all in January, and I was also very close to moving to a few different clubs that we were in talks and meetings with. I only have three months left now, so I’m allowed to speak with other clubs, and I’ve made use of that. I’ve tried to assess where the clubs are and what they need. But it wasn’t the right opportunity in the winter, and that’s why I didn’t end up moving. Now I’ve started to be included in the squad a bit more again, because the window is closed and we’ve had some injuries. He has said I’m not the first priority, but if they need me, they will use me. However, they’ve been doing really well, so there hasn’t been a need to make changes.
I understood the situation, and I’m glad they were so clear with me. Sometimes communication isn’t that direct, so I actually appreciated that,” he said. I might be a bit surprised because of my performances and what I’ve done for the club since I arrived. But I understand how things work in football when a new coach comes in and wants to implement a new strategy together with the sporting director. I told him that I understood why, and if I were a coach, I might have done the same. It’s just unfortunate that I’m the one in that situation, because I feel I can contribute on the pitch.'

I wish I could understand this more as to why Emi, or any other player, doesnt fit.
I guess basically that:
1) their skill level is lower than the others we've got
2) Their fitness level is limited due possibly due to their physique or data figures or muscle limitations, like mine - I can run with a ball at my feet in short bursts up and down the field the whole match, but to just run around the edge of the pitch or a road run in a training session I only lasted about 200 yards and then couldnt even walk as the lactic acid build up was so severe in my calves - hereditary apparently, cant do anything about it.
3) Their atitude and their wants what to do in a match
4) Lack of being able to be a team player
5) Pay levels for output value ratio
6) Attitude, age
7) Weight sustainability
8) Language difficulties maybe in some cases, though I expect that is common in upper tiers and its gotten over or around
9) Personal issues such as area settlement, agent pressure, feelings, other factors
10) Original Transfer against their desire or choice.

Are we expecting a clean out this summer and an ingress of new players?

or in case of Duffy 11 ). Being shit : )

I think there will be a clear-out, and if we are serious about going up next season, then we need to have a clear-out and spend some money in the summer.
There really is no option and now Kenny has had a years extension presumably we need to find a new midfield general to teach and sit beside Pele

Further to BBs request for which I had no answer at that time for others like Toure down here Im just watching the Aussies play Cameroon in a friendly - yep theres more players that can do incredibly short passes in confined spaces but also the left back of Cameroon is very adept, as are a few others in their team, that can neatly pinch and tackle steal balls off the feet of attackers. A lot of the players look like PC style players.

We have been linked with Plymouth forward Lorent Tolaj.

Interesting one.......left Brighton and didnt do much for Salford.
So he dropped to National League Aldershot where he was scoring goals
for fun. The following season he played for Port Vale in League Two
and scored goals for fun. This then earnt him a move to Plymouth in
League one for this season and guess what....he is scoring goals for fun.

League only
23 - 24 Aldershot (Nat. League) 42+2 19 goals 11 assists
24 - 25 Port Vale (League 2) 30+7 14 goals 8 assists
25 - 26 Plymouth (League 1) 27+2 16 goals 5 assists

DOB 23/10/01 --> 24 1/2
1m 83 tall
Swiss U19 - 4 caps 8 goals
left foot

So we will find out tomorrow about players who will be let go in the summer - that's according to Talk Norwich City/Pink Un in their podcast.

I mean, I'd think Springett, Duffy, Barden, Schlupp, Emi. The fact that, in the last two games, Schlupp has been classed as fit and going to be in the squad, but hasn't been, makes me think he will be gone.

I would also hope they would release long - how did he get such a long deal?

Mundle-Smith deal expires in the summer too, I believe - will he be offered a new deal?

Then the other U21 players will they all be let go:

Henry Bullen, Billy Gee, Lloyd Ofori-Manteaw, Toby Chilvers, Brandon Forbes, Harmony Okwumo, AJ Bridge.
