Summer 2025 Transfer Rumours Thread

Probably covered elsewhere but I've not caught up yet - one of the trialists at Lincoln United with the U18's was apparently 19 year old Connor Brown, released by Forest, who left us for them back in 2021, and scored 19 goals and 9 assists in 40 in the PL U18's division last season (credit to the guy who posted that on Twitter, can't find the tweet again now!).

“…forward players showed good signs of cohesion” before the start of the season! That’s almost unheard of, usually something that only happens sometime in late September around game twelve.

On that basis, this could be a very good season indeed.

100% agree with this DavidImp. That goal was exceptional at the end of a drab game that was petering out. He showed real strength and tenacity to win the ball, then beat a defender as if he wasn’t there and finished calmly when many would have simply blasted the ball as hard as they could. Superb goal.

Let's hope this board gets the drop first or we will be getting second hand news. If we don't make some decent signings I'm never going back again and Lincoln City? Well you can go your own way.

I do recognise that the chain higher up the leagues may be causing issues which I make allowances for, but on a positive note don't stop thinking about tomorrow and if the stars align we will all be jumping around with silver springs of joy and chirping like songbirds.

(Good luck referencing Oh Daddy, and Gold Dust Woman. I reckon You Make Loving Fun is doable though - challenge laid down) :grinning:

This has all gone Over My Head… but clearly a decent left back is like gold dust these days.
