A five-year-old was billed for failing to attend a friend's birthday party - resulting in threats of legal action.

FFS WE ALL KNOW YOU CHARGE UP FRONT YOU AMATEURS :3:

Oh deary me, we am going proper Americanised now ay we, sue this sue that, even rita sue and bob too!

Fair play to the parent. That would p1ss me off as well. I probably wouldn't invoice them but I would want the money for just not showing up.

I mean cmon legal action is crazy ay it, i couldn't charge them tbh at all, i would feel cheaky and just wrong.

I saw this story, and thought what c***s, then I saw that they didn't let them know their kid wasn't coming, which I thought was a bit rude as well. F*** both sets of arrogant parents I say :5: Sorted

Blimey JF! When I saw your headline I thought you must have been talking to my late beloved Aunt, as she frequently said that.

I guess this guy wont be on the invitation list next Christmas.

I would have spoken directly to the parents about it, rather than sending an invoice. I can understand why she is peeved having booked the absentee a place, however to send an invoice is well OTT

It's a waste of paper on the part of the aggrieved Mum. There was no contract. However, thoughtlessness is infuriating.
