Stocks and making money

I didn't want my money to fritter away and wanted to savealot so I have invested in fisH cakes and battered sausages chaps! Haven't looked back, I have piled on the pounds and also have a large number of chips.

I am just about to take out my uk pension,a masive total of about 50k euros. Everything I have own cos ive had a life of never ever saving.
50% of my income ends up with with my rescued animals etc for one reason or another, never married and had kids etc so with renting etc as a single person has aways been more expensive to ive than for families of course.

Whilst I am going to try and invest this money into my dream plot( (about to update orf on this, hence on this side of the forum) it does mean i have no pension and have to start from scratch. With that n mind I started an investment portfolio about 3 months ago and currently putting 300eu pm into it to get started.

Altho i havent invested personally, im a bright lad right? ;), apparently well suited to portfolio management, and after watching the pension fund the last year or two it suggests I couldnt do any worse.. lost 15% value the last 2 years in the UK. :(

Some blatant Nuances, tiny costs that when when added up will negate many profits made. Avoiding the initial costs of just a few euros can save/earn thousands over a few years. (I intend 7+) Im pretty sure, looking at other peoples portfolios that they arent considering al lthese details and make it harder than it could be.

Spent time sorting my interests, sustainability, animal welfare, ai and automation etc and then find the cheapest trading platform. On Degiro theres quite a bunch of 'free'trades.
So far 16 interests, mainly EFT's

Wow chaps, news breaking just now that @Ingy's beetroot and parsnip ice cream start-up has received a takeover offer!

A shareholder vote to approve/reject will take place at next week's Triple M, chaired by @Apollyon and moderated by @Barry Goldie.

I for one will be voting to REJECT. This pony has got a few more furlongs to go before we reach Successville.

The special recipe is under lock and key chap.As you know the parsnip flavour can be accredited to Elsie but the treatment of the beetroot has always been kept secret. These were selling like hot cakes today chap and the kids are getting 2 of their 5 a day in one scoop! Cracking work chaps.

Cracking chap!

Have you been able to source a viable replacement for Enid's yeast yet, chap? We know that it helps to bind the whole thing together and without it, it would just be a runny mess.

But old Enid cant have long left in this mortal realm and we need a succession plan.

Let's grab 10 tomorrow PM to discuss further. I'm thinking Ethel could be a likely candidate.
