By shaving nearly 2% off the rag share price.

Naughty little rumour doing the rounds that Nike have pulled the plug on their proposed sponsorship deal with the rags, and have pulled out of the auction as the rags want far too much cash.

Well, that stock offering is a sham to begin with. No voting stake, no dividends, nothing. It was always a scam to pump up profits without having to pay any tax on it.

Philly, if there are no dividends are they only buying as an investment and banking on selling at a higher price ? That surely is not a wise investment in a club which was at their peak when the share sale took place and was only likely to worsen.

Saddens me to think the glazers got all that revenue in from selling nothing shares with no voting rights and no dividends so it won't drain their profits.

That's exactly it, CB1K. They are also registered in the Cayman Islands and were listed as an "emerging company" so that they didn't have to pay any tax on the money made.
