Still no news on potter!

So all we have is permission to speak with Potter!? Typical swans, dragging our feet and taking an age to get anything done. Perfect for Huw to delay transfers and not make them.

Very frustrating for the fans, who have recently seen their dreams crumble overnight.
It is out of our hands and no matter how much HJ has frustrated and angered us over the last few seasons we are stuck with him and have to grit our teeth and rely on him again to make the right choices for a new manager that can rejuvenate us for the gruelling season ahead.
All the depressing newspaper headlines are about the disintegration of our squad and if believed we’ll be left with all the weaker players, the rest cherry picked by the vultures. If they have to go then there should be no fire sale, for example the best goalkeeper in the PL last season Fabianski, going for 4 mill, he’s worth a lot more to us than that.

Here's an update via Stuart James (Guardian journalist / Swans fan) on twitter:

"Potter will take over. Lots for him to sort out, not just his own arrival, his staff too, and of course clarity on what he’s walking into/got to work with. But I’m not sweating over it. It’ll happen - & soon."

You’ve all heard of the famous movie The Big Sleep with Humphrey Bogart, well we have our own version, it’s called The Big Talk starring Huw Jenkins!
Seriously, how long a talk do they need to reach agreement. Lampard the latest manager recruit to sign for Derby. That’s all teams settled with managers in place then, except us. What’s going on?

Finally a deal is agreed with Potter but he won’t be here until early next week.
Seemingly no hurry then, whilst our club has been in limbo for weeks, rudderless, managerless, our players restless and wanting out, and the new season edging ever closer.
All we as fans can do is watch on in frustration as HJ plods on regardless.
