We have all witnessed how Raheem Sterling has improved this season, but the stats in this OS article show just how dramatic this upturn inform has been. His late goals against Bournemouth, Huddersfield, Everton, Southampton, Newcastle, West Brom and Feyenoord have been critical but only tell part of the story.

His shot conversion stats have undergone a tremendous improvement - up from 17% to 27% which I make nearly 60% better.

Delighted for him.

The exciting thing about Sterling is he's hitting these numbers and yet there's still plenty of room for improvement, if he can find that composure when he has time in front of goal who knows how many he can bag.

Indeed.

Can you imagine the fuss that would have been made about his performances had he still been at Liverpool? A massive headache for the hacks and pundits - either they have to admit he is either:-

a) hugely talented and is flourishing naturally as he matures and that the should be celebrating his success just as they laud Harry Kane rather than denigrating him or questioning why he has bought food at Greggs etc

Or....

b) his natural talent has been enhanced and taken to the next level by a coach they have pretty much derided as only having been successful because he had Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Robben, Lahm etc at his disposal.

Time to make your mind up guys & gals.....

He's won more trophies in his three years since leaving Liverpool than Liverpool have in the last decade.
