I await confirmation fro juan tbh Skeg yam alright and all that but stick to informing us the feckin season please!! :)

Juan is in fact an eight stone weakling, Clive. He could do with a nice bit of bloody sirloin lol

Genuine question: is meat seasonal?
I know that sounds ridiculous but I've had two steaks in the last fortnight and wasn't that impressed. They seem to be better quality in winter.

Mr06 is back!!!

Never really thought about it, don't think so though. I had fillet steak from musclefood tonight, it was yummy!

Suppose it might make sense that some free range or natural fed animals might be better at certain times of the year though perhaps

The article (strange coming from them, a few months ago they did one saying protein gives you cancer taken from a ridiculous study!) does spell out the need for a balanced diet as you get different benefits from the different forms of protein.

They do also say that you should limit the amount of certain fish due to mercury levels and so you look to get your omega oils from other sources as well.

Aye, you can't beat a good bit (not really a bit) of steak.

I don't think steak is seasonal..... we only have 2 seasons here, wet and dry and the steak always tastes good.

Yes it's official, the Daily fail are at it again, reading what they want into a study and ignoring the bits they don't want, such as

"it is protein from vegetable sources that is inversely related to blood pressure, with no significant effects for animal protein (3, 4). Furthermore, plant protein has been shown to be a strong marker of dietary quality, whereas the findings for animal protein are currently equivocal"

That's just from a quick scan of the paper :81:

some do because of the fluoride added!

lol, yes there is that of course!

My point being that every week there seems to be new claims about something that's good for you being bad, and something bad for actually being good. It gets a bit confusing!

Also if you live up North water is defo bad for you unless you boil it,,,FACT!
