Star Wars Any Good?

The Force Awakens is OUT-bloody-STANDING, possibly the best one so far.

Controversial I know, as it was only released yesterday, but I fucking loved EVERY second - sat there for 2 hours or so with the biggest, stupidest grin and it was like meeting up with an old drinking buddy after a very long time apart.

Star Wars as a whole is the dog's danglies, and anyone who says differently needs a dry slap and a good kicking.

Saw The Force Awakens this afternoon.

So much to say!. Its new, but for a person of my age its also nostalgic. Took my two kids who are 10 and 12. To my joy they love star wars but have not seen any at the cinema. I genuinely had a lump in my throat when i saw their faces when opening title started. Just totally reminded me of being their age and watching it. This won't be a spolier (as its in the trailer) but the bit where the x-wings are first seen flying across the lake we all looked at each other and grinned stupidly. Great to have a female character lead through out, my daughter loved that.

Above all its just cracking fun. As an adult now you can now tear into the plot holes and story but star wars are kids film remember. We loved them as kids and we are still loving them 40 years later. Great to just go with it.



 
Well that's you opinion, generally I agree with his take on movies, not all but most, but you are allowed to disagree.
 
I'm 47, gulp, and it's brilliant. Bit far fetched obviously a child conceived by a virgin who has mystic powers, how utterly ridiculous that anyone would believe it's true.
 
I loved it but then again I have enjoyed them all

Mainly cos I AM Luke Skywalker and I have never grown out of loving this brand

But anyone who says Star Wars isn't any good isn't entitled to an opinion because if they were entitled to one, they'd have to stand in the corner with their wrongness.

 
They should all wear dunces hats and made to eat gay cake before they relaised the error in ther ways in not liking Star Wars,,,,maybe bringing back hanging or introducing lethal injection is another option.
