No idea , but as '57 they must be. The thing that I liked was the space , as you can see from the picture , when you are standing there is a lot of room.

I imagine it would reduce capacity but they seem to get bigger gates at places like Bayern where they have them. I'm not sure how much extra space they take up compared to a normal seat

The new permission means they can't be locked in either position, so fan can both sit and stand even though it's a standing area.

Thanks MF. Good article. I have jumped the gun then. Not what I thought. Seems sensible idea and option to sit down is there. Not that you would in the game but half time maybe . Interesting.
