1 Signe Gaupset (20) until 29. Eur160k rating 9/10
2 Evelina Summanen (28) until ?? Eur140k rating 6/10
3 Olga Ahtinen (28) until ?? Eur90k rating 5/10
3 Maite Oroz (28) until 28 Eur125k rating 6/10

Drew can only last 60mins if being honest but plays well with new recruit Signe.

Summanen and Ahtinen are on the decline and have been for 2 seasons and are really not game changers anymore and Oroz - I really just do not see where she fits in under Martin's style of play.

Rebuilding Midfield is a must ... and I really do not understand the reasoning on extending contracts to Spence Summanen Ahtinen more than 1 year. The club do not say how long contracts are now - they just say a long or short term contract. All 3 have seemed to have been given long term so i would imagine 2+1.

We need 2 TOP ELITE status players, 1 creative and one more defensive and why we should have tried to get Stanway. there have been SO SO SO many decent midfielders that we have let pass us by over the last 4 windows and it really is a concern. This is where games are won or lost ibh.

We are so weak in this area if Julie not available to take over but playing her constantly in this position weakens the LB role so a catch 22 situation

Both Vinberg and Naz are just simply not good enough for the rigours of today's WSL. Both have zero end product, often found offside down a dead end although Naz has more chance of scoring and why the slightly higher rating.

Playing Olivia here is really wasting her talent - she is more a No10 type player just behind the striker with the freedom to roam.

Dennis and Gatwick have the energy but no skill nor end product and why upgrading Academy players really does not always work. Dont get fooled with the values on Gatwick and Naz as this is high because of their England call up's.
There is a player in Gatwick but she needs a loan maybe to a newly promoted WSL club. Dennis I think we are wasting our time with as we are with Naz and Vinberg .. all 3 should be moved on for far better

Why we def need a TOP ELITE RWA !!!!

I would go as far as to say - why not offer Naz in a deal to try get a decent WSL RWA in like Terland - Man U might take the bait.

clearly both Olivia and Signe could play these positions as required and in the past Naz has but she was really poor and why she needs moving on - the last of the old guard from promotion to the WSL.

We def keep weak players way too long.

both were Vilahamn signings and although Thomas did well in her first half season she dried up quite badly when Beth came back from injury.
Csiki was a very poor signing and couldnt cope with WSL rigours.

Hopefully both will be moved on again (sold or loaned)

That is a real unexpected blow - I had not realised that the old labour leader hadn't signed it off. That creates a massive problem for us now - do we sue - do we negotiate? last I heard was the Greens were fully expect to get behind the agreement as is - but obviously they've done an about turn and as it was inextricably linked to the bigger housing project, i am shocked that they've basically handed the running of all this to the conservatives, their sworn enemies!

Back to square one unless the greens get back on board now.
 
With the Whitewebbs taking a bad turn - what should we do?

Spend more millions on fighting it in the courts (they for sure would love that) against the green leaf sandal gypsies and their celebrity lovers who are another clan who seem to hate our club and what we are trying to do.

OR should we "dare I say it" .... save it and concede defeat until The Conservatives are back in power and spend that money more wisely and ...

1 we allocate more green space to the women's set up and either build a better bigger building over the existing which we have outgrown for sure and to incl a rehab centre with pools like Man City have done. It can then be jointly used by all the women's teams'
or
2 we can keep the existing building and the academy take it over and the 1st team move out on their own to another elsewhere in Potspur way garden centre.
We could knock down the Hotel complex (as no one really uses it do they?) - so not a big money earner unles SpX says different as we fans dont really know how it is used or it's true value anyhow.

Im more in favour in a bigger building with everything they need in bulk and have seperate sections in the building for the academy set ups namely U14's - U16's - U19's & U21's (if we bring it back and we should imho) and the 1st team ... and they mix around the building. We could even include a small creche for players with very small children.

Also... if there is a chance this 7's is likely to take off over the years and we can try get some of the financial rewards that come from it, then also build in an enclosed purpose built 7's pitch to use & train on as and when.

I think the hotel complex probably contributes a fair amount of income, I know England use it when playing at Wembley and I'm sure other national teams do also. The facility will also operate as a catering function daily for training and academy games.

I think we should pursue the application that was approved by the council, there must be a good case commercially and it has just been blocked by Nimby's because it wasn't signed off by the outgoing administration.

When you look at the area surrounding Hotspur Way/Whitewebbs there is a plethera of park facilities available to the public so the loss of part of the old golf course and the upgrading of public facilities in the rest of the park really shouldn't be an issue.

Maybe we could threaten them with a massive compensation claim on the basis of preparatory work carried out following the planning application approval?

Cant agree any more than that TQ but with 1 ar*ehole now in Labour controlled Council now wanting to use this to feather his own nest with voters, I cant see who would have the power to overturn it now so we may have to find space in what we have.

There must be an established appeals procedure such as a planning ombudsman or even directly to the minister responsible for local government.

Nah I had other commitments and after the 7's my interest had wained quite some (very disappointed in this joke tournament ibh) esp with both Chelski and Manu being paid money as well. Its like rubbing salt in an open wound.

Unlike us - they actually were in the game until they went 2-0 up .. as for us - we never really got off the bus bar to do the Boss catwalk fashion show. The game itself was a total disaster starting with Spencer and her kamikaze antics.
