Spurs Women - the Mushroom period between season 7 and 8

Well, it seems they are doing exactly as they told they would do with the women, so next season should be very entertaining...!

still need a TOP RWA and a TOP DM though and then the 1st team puzzle will be complete for hanging on the wall.

Naz still has monetary value (less the skill ibh) so is prime for trading for a top RWA in the mould of a Terland or Kelly as all those we have on the bench are clearly not good enough for this top position now Hamano gone back.

Vinberg Gatwick Dennis and Naz are simply only going to dilute the skill level as and when chosen ... and Olivia Holdt will be wasted out there when she is clearly a roaming No10. Blakstad is a decent backup for Hanson on LWA .. so we must solve the RWA weakness b4 we go to Spain.

As for DM - I say this as this role is equally important.

Our other weakness is our defensive role from midfield. The backline has been strengthend and the GK now has good pressure on her to prove herself or be benched.
However the midfield there is ... Signe Drew Victoria as AM's (tick)
but Evi Olga as DM's both of which are on the decline and it shows.

Not really sure where Maite Oroz fits in anymore but again she is more a AM not so DM. Yes all can go back and play in defence when needed but that is not their core skill set and why we need a TOP DM to come in .. someone like Maeve Clemaron who played for us for one season in Skinner's reign (awesome player) - she was like Dembele was for the men's team. Tough and had great ball skill plus eye for goal.

I would say go for Ruby Mace who is still young, on the brink of an England 1st team call up, and would not break the bank to get if Everton willing to trade say with Naz as a straight swop.

Then if we GEL straight away - we will be the team that the others will be wary of for sure.

Thks Viv/Martin .. but it's not finished yet .. nor are Man U Chelski LCL Citeh nor those up the road. Surely we can find another £1.5 mill from the £250 Mill kitty to take us to the next level .... PLEASE

Tunnel of doom appears again in October within the fixture release

beware the Ides of October but a good Sept start with Wet Spam/Pool/Palace and Villa ... we need 4 wins here if we can.

LCL at home Oct 4th Sun 12 noon (their team will have gel'd by this time)
Chelski away Oct 18th Sun 2 pm (we have a chance against them at last)
Sc*m at home at the Lane Oct 25th Sun 2 pm (probable loss but close)

Yes. October tough and then the run from end of January to mid-March is pretty rough as well.
Need to have at least 10 points from 12 by end of September if realistically going to push the top 4. Anything less than 10 and we can forget it.

Nowhere near the standard. Says everything that Middleton-Patel was selected ahead of her when Tullis-Joyce was injured.

Bartrip not been seen in any training photos or videos. Palace is my understanding.
After having viewed a few YT vids on Leitzig .. I now agree with u Xander. I actually thought she was a better GK but how wrong I am.

and why we still need a top RWA to give us the best chance in bagging 10 or 12 points .... have u heard anything in your circles?

New WSL player values ... none of ours then which keeps the wolves away from stealing and noticing them
