I dutifully watched at midnight last night.

Lloris, 6, Sanchez 6.5, Dier 7, Davies 7.5, Royal 6, Sessegnon 6.5, Hojbjerg 7, Bentancur 7.5, Kulusevski 8.5, Son 7, Kane 8, Moura 6.5. Conte 8.

Apart from his goals I thought Son had a poor game. Moura might deserve more but wasn't on long enough to warrant it, nice cameo though.

Average player ratings v Norwich across 7 forum posters and 10 media Web. Forum in first column, media second and combined third.

Lloris 6.57, 6 60, 6 58
Sanchez 7.07, 7.30, 7.20
Dier 7.14, 6.95, 7.02
Davies 7.14, 7.45, 7.32
Royal 6.35, 7.35, 6.94
Sessegnon 6.57, 7.10, 6.88
Hojbjerg 7.64, 7.75, 7.70
Bentancur 8.21, 8.40, 8.32
Kulusevski 8.71, 9.05, 8.91
Son 8, 8.70, 8.41
Kane 7.35, 8.10, 7.79
Moura 7.14, 7.05, 7.08
Conte 8.50

Forum MOM was Kulusevski which matches the ratings.

Ref was Chris Kavanagh who harshly book Son after he accidentally slipped while going for a 50/50. Ref also pulled up play rather than let Hojbjerg continue to break.

Early findings of the ratings summary show that our overwhelming best attacking player of the season....Son, was not the highest rated in the games since January the 5th, my final stage. He played 19 games and rated 6.77 Over the same period Kane played 23 games and rated 7.10 which is exceptional.
I stress this is only since January and Sonny rated better over the other 2 reviews and I predict will probably ease past Kane overall. But it looks like Kane may have played 10 more games than Son over the season so that is something to consider. Especially as Kane offers a more varied contribution in games.

You are starting to sound like the bullshit media and pundits now lol!

Remember fans see what they see! thus probably better opinions.

Here it us....the final placings for ratings for the entire season . The lowest number of games cut off point was 28.
The number of games played is in the last column.

1. Dier 6.65....37
2. Romero 6.58...28
3. Lloris 6.45....43
4. Skipp 6.37....28
4. Son 6.37.... 42
5. Kane 6.25.....50
6. Hojbjerg 6.21....44
7. Sanchez 6.18....28
8. Moura 6.17.....38
9. Royal 6.08.....31
10 Davies 5.91.....43

Those excluded of note are.....
Kulusevski 17 games
Bentancur 16
Tanganga 20
Doherty 18
Ndombele 10
Winks 21
Sessegnon 19
Reguilon 22
Bergwijn 17.
There are others also excluded who played even less.

Kulusevski rated 7.03 over 17 games.
Bentancur 7.26 over 16 games.

The games played factor needs consideration because I think maintaining a high average over a higher number of games shows more consistency of high performance.
Should Romero at 6.58 from 28 games and Skipp at 6.37 from 28 be above Kane on 6.25 from 50 games ( the most played by any player). ?

Thanks for everyone's ratings and input to the thread. Well done to Dier.

From last seasons table, here is the comparison to this season for those still with us and playing enough games.
First column last seasons rating, second this seasons.

1. Kane 6.63, 6.25
2. Hojbjerg 6.41, 6.21
3. Lloris 6.22, 6.45
4. Son 6.19, 6.37
5. Dier 6.10, 6.65
6. Davies 5.84, 5.91
7. Moura 5.78, 6.17
8. Sanchez 5.70, 6.18.

Lloris, Son, Dier, Davies, Moura and Sanchez improved their ratings...6 of the 8.
Kane and Hojbjerg dropped from last seasons but to be fair both had significant uplifts towards the end of the season.

Many thanks for all the work you've put into this - it's a great and well balanced analysis - plenty here for people to debate, so I think we should start a new thread with your summary as the first post as it should be an interesting one!
