Space Time Tunnel?

A giant doorway to another galaxy or universe may exist at the centre of the Milky Way, a study suggests.

Scientists believe it would be possible to navigate through the wormhole, potentially a real-life version of the space-time tunnel portrayed in the hit movie Interstellar.

Wormholes allowing instantaneous travel between distant points in space and time, or even between different universes, are allowed under Einstein's theory of General Relativity.

According to the authors, the black hole - a region of concentrated gravity that distorts space-time - may actually be a wormhole in disguise.

So i always thought a black hole was at the centre of most spiral galaxies in the cosmos, now they could actually be worm holes we could one day pass through to another universe or galaxy, crazy thinking but they am going to study other galaxies for black holes/worm holes and test this theory, be amazing if true then we would really have hope to get us a vehicle that can travel fast enough to see these wonders one day,,,,,if we survive long enough that is as a race :17:

I always thought in theory that this would be the case because I always wondered what happens when you entered... Surely you dont just stop there you know...

Space fascinates me so much 3 things I really want to do are see the Northern lights, go to the observatory thats in Hawaii on the mountain and see the stars from Yellow Stone as well...

I think I'll either just make the boat for space travel or I am a generation too late... At the very least I expect space tourism in and around our planet to be affordable in our life time...

Here is a video Clive and one that got me a little bit stunned I suppose... Majestic!

Can we send in Lamberk to test it, he can tell the new galaxy how excellent Earth is

If we can't understand a word he says how do you expect an alien race to?

Goes for Clive too...

I was kind of hoping he'd just stay there the 1st time, I couldnae ask anymore of him than that

CDX dude that video above is just mind boggling ay it, to even comprehend the vastness of space and matter in it is impossible, just have to take it as it is,

I though Hawking said the density of a black hole would crush you? and Spaggettify you on the event horizon seeming to last forever to yourself but if someone watching it wouldn't see ot that way it would look quicker?

It's hard to conceive space, because everything in our lives we've ever known is about limitations, where the end is, so when something hasn't got one it freaks us out and our brain's go funny. But really it's just like numbers, there's no top number, and as far as we know there's no end to space, it's just that, space, with stuff in it :118:

Incredible it is... 60 HD TVs to view it in its full size but how big those TVs need to be im not sure...

Yeah Im not gona argue with Hawking but when I thought of wormholes my mind just kind of jump to black holes as an entry point... Problem is it would be a one way wormhole if it were the case... They are all theories though just the best guess based on what we know...

Probes ay it would be our best bet in the near future, we need some propulsion system though, rumours the US already have some kind of new advanced craft but wouldn't surprise us would it, but there is more to this universe and life than we think, we just know it don't we, i really hope we am around dude to at least see the space age, maybe just miss it tbh

Good way of looking at it Freeman dude that, brain fry does happen when trying to imagine this stuff ay it, just imagine what we don't know,,,,,now there is a thought :17:

The whole thing's just mad.

According to most either there's an invisible man who lives in the sky who made everything, and he's watching everything we do every minute of every day, and he's got a list of 10 things he does not want us to do, and if we do any of those 10 things he's got a special place for us, full of fire and burning and suffering where he'll send us to suffer for eternity, but he loves us. (George Carlin quote)

Either that or once upon a time there was nothing, then one day it exploded.

Wouldn't it have been so much easier for there to have been nothing at all, and then it's all for what? So we can be here billions of years later to be government and banking slaves, to work consume and die. Something's wrong with this picture!

They are now starting to think there was something there before the Big Bang. It was something completely different, but nevertheless it "existed".

The number of random events to get here today is truly astounding. That doesn't even take into account the theory of parallel universes. If there are an infinite number of these then every eventuality is being played out somewhere, including Villa winning the PL.

I love that stuff, especially if it somehow incorporates us being Barcelona in one of the Universes!

That should cheer Clive up. At least Villa are doing well somewhere/sometime. We should remind him about this when we get relegated in our reality!!!
