Sour Grapes

I didn't think the piece is that bad. The crux of what it says is true - Blackpool played some tidy stuff, kept possssion and created nothing, we won and deservedly so. Yes, there is a bias slant to it - with comments about us being ugly and cynical, where, as far as I could see it, we were no more ugly or cynical than Blackpool. I believe that they committed more fouls than us. In a way, I'd rather our own Peter Lloyd and Radio Kent comms put a bit more of a bias Gills slant on our matches, rather than blowing smoke up the arse of the other team and starting all games from the viewpoint that we're probably inferior and going to lose....

They conceded 21 fouls ST but the gist from some Pool fans was that hardly any of those were actually fouls.
The ref was soft and we dived all over the park.
I’m guessing that they will concede the rugby tackle on the half way line 😂
Personally, I thought they were unnecessarily physical in places where we couldn’t hurt them.
Given that the ref is literally metres away, I’d give him the benefit of the doubt.
