SOLDADO - It makes you want to spit!

Having watched Njie and Son, it looks like another mistake to let Soldado go, who I thought was totally useless for us BTW, but still a level above these two clowns.

he's scored 3 goals in 13 league games.

I think Son will be a good signing, he started very brightly but there's a lot more to come from him. N'Jie jury is still out for me, not impressed me much yet except in brief instances but I remain hopeful.

Son is a good player. He is clearly not fit and lacking confidence. Not sure with N'Jie, he looks pretty shit at the moment.

As with any player they need a run of games from the start of games before we can right them off completely. N'Jie just hasn't had that chance.

La Liga - 3 goals and 5 assists in 13
EL - 2 goals and 2 assists in 5

Not too bad

This was inevitable he was always a good forward very badly handled who then let himself down with his mental approach. But I see his failing being as much about the systematic failure of the club to properly scout players. He works in a very specific set(the one I thought AVB had in mind when he signed him. Hell maybe he did but as he claims he never got what he wanted who knows). I don't care, I am now concerned for Son who looks like a player that has the ability to do well but feels like his confidence is now circling the drain. Njie I'll be honest when I watched him he never impressed me but will give him time.

Soldado was, and remains, a good striker. Unfortunately not suited to how we played, although possibly still suited to the PL. I did think he would have scored a few more already, but maybe he has been injured?

But he is the past and right now it is Son and N'Jie we need to be focusing on, and I feel the same as most above.

Son I think will do well here, but I don't yet see enough from him to give him real rave reviews. N'Jie on the other hand has shown me nothing yet, and is looking like a desperation punt when it was clear we weren't going to be getting in the striker we needed. Not convinced he is any better than a couple of the Academy boys I have seen, so I would have kept the £10m (reported) we spent on him in the coffers.
