I've been remarkably polite.
You, as always attack the poster rather than the post. That is why so many of your replies bear virtually no resemblance to the posts you are replying to. Hence why "debating" with you is such a schizophrenic experience.
You brought up my job immediately, which you frequently do. Doing so is unnecessary, irrelevant and small minded. You have been told in the past to drop this line but you still continue. You seem now to have broadened Your bile to all public sector workers, thus attacking several million people.
Of course, I could hit back like for like. I could ask you to defend your miserable cosmetics market stall in comparison to the doctors, nurses, teachers and firemen that you implicitly attack.
I could ask you how many creditors and suppliers you ripped off when your two businesses failed.
But I'm not interested. That's your personal business, just as my job is mine.
Not once have I insulted you as you have when you implicitly linked me to the desecration of a war memorial. Linking all centre left people with that kind of business is as ridiculous as linking all right wingers with the Nazis.
And I openly admitted that my party lost the argument on Friday. I'm not going to glorify the Tories, and I am bitter- but I have been magnanimous in defeat.
You on the others hand attempt to avoid all criticism by claiming to support everyone and no one.

At the end of the day, just like in any Election, the people had their choice as to who they wished to vote for.
There was NO Huge overall Majority for the Conservatives ( ala' Thatcher), There was NO Huge overall Majority for Labour(ala' Blair)
What we have to ask ourselves is why IF this Election was the most important in a Generation and there were so many that were (supposedly) upset with the State of the Country, there were still 3 in 10 of the voting Population who couldn't be arsed to get down to their local Polling Station and make a difference.
Right or wrong, whoever you voted for, the ones shouting the loudest over the next few years will be people who didn't even vote.
Well now they, along with everyone else have to wait another 5 years and IF at that time you ain't happy, you have the choice to vote differently to make a change.
On Thursday, contrary to all the Polls over the past 6 weeks, enough people decided to vote Blue to put a Conservative Gov't back into No.10 WITH A MAJORITY!!! That is not the Politicians fault, it's the PEOPLE of Britain because it was THEIR choice!
At the end of the day, just like in any Election, the people had their choice as to who they wished to vote for.

Popey perhaps sorting them out will not benefit my son but it will reduce the welfare bill for the scrounging few who will not work.
It is a very difficult decision to know the difference between can work and won't or cannot work because of illness.
Child benefit should stop after two children,if you want more pay for them why should we.
Stop the rights for housing if you become pregnant.
These are common sense changes which will save millions and let the people who need the money have it and will reduce the needs for cuts to public services

It's not quite as simple as 3 in 10 didn't vote and would otherwise have had their voice heard in a first past the post system.
I live in a seat that is so strongly Labour that had I wanted to vote Conservative it would have been a waste of time.
Looking at the % of people who didn't vote where the result was reasonably tight would perhaps be a better way at judging apathy and its impact on the overall result.

Top 1,000 families have increased their wealth by over 100% or 20 billion or so since the recession started. We're all in it together at least....

Another politics of envy quote....hopefully they contributed a sizeable chunk of that in tax via income tax, sdlt by buying property and through vat. Some of them might have popped off too generating some iht. Close the loopholes yes, running a quasi communist state no thanks. Unless ofcourse youd like to tell us your line where it would not be acceptable to take money from an individual for state purposes

Labour had 13 years to bring in all these Polices when they had a Huge Majority, so why didn't they if they were so concerned about the poorest in Society.
So concerned about the (so called) Privatisation of the NHS, that rather than use Tax-payers money to build & re-furbish schools & hospitals, they borrowed MILLIONS from Private Firms to pay for it all. As a result for example, Kings Mill Hospital in Sherwood Forest NHS Trust has to pay £3m a MONTH from it's Budget for 20 Years just to pay back the money borrowed.
That's just 1 Hospital and there are hundreds of other examples around the Country as to why we were so much in the s*** in 2010, Maxing out on the UK Credit Cards, yet continuing to apply for more Cards to spend on

OK not everything is rosy in the Country, they all get things wrong and do things we wish they wouldn't.
BUT !!! to hear everyone moaning and wrist slitting, you would think we are worse than a 3rd World Country.
I don't see Millions on the streets day in day out drinking from puddles as their only source of water.
I don't see Millions on the streets foraging for any scraps of food they get their hands on.
I don't see Millions on the streets living in Tents for months on end because their homes have been Decimated by an Earthquake.
Yes everything isn't all Hunky Dorey in this Country, but ....................

I don't think you can necessarily blame the wealth generation of the rich people and businesses for the woes of others.
I've done alright for myself through co-founding a .com (Not football club buying rich, but doing pretty well)
We paid tax on our profits. Ultimately to unlock the wealth we'd generated we sold the business which is where the majority of my cash has come from, but had to pay tax then as well.
We generated jobs directly by being employers and most of those jobs still exist today.
We certainly gave some of our profits to charity.
As I (or mostly my wife) spend my money it's getting released back into the economy for the government to take another tax bight. (And in a lot of cases aids our local economy by giving a bit of work to small local businesses)
My gaining of wealth has been beneficial to the country, not detrimental.
Granted other people might have got their wealth in other ways, but plenty of the rich list are entrepreneurs too.
Most left wing arguments I don't have a problem with. There's arguments both ways as to what's best for the long term of the country and I'm not political enough to try to tell people which way to vote, but there's a lot of demonisation of the successful in left wing rhetoric that grates with me. (I admit rereading your later reply maybe that's not what you're trying to do, but there are many that do and I've gone to the trouble of writing this post now so I'm going to hit submit.)
