Smalling needs a bigger shirt

Gobsmacked at how Manures Smalling keeps getting away with grabbing opponents shirts in the penalty area. Are refs and linesmen feckin blind...he needs to be retrospectively sent off to send a message to all defenders that this behaviour is not legal! Against Soton yesterday he committed grievious bodily harm to the Southampton shirts all through the match.

Saw it mate Smalling thinks he is in the WWF, also saw Stones horror show at Swansea the though of those two at CB in the Euros for England fill me with dread. Woy needs to call up Scott Dan and get him game time, I serious.

A second rate manager will always yend to choose second rate players...

not just Smalling, Vert is often guilty of it. It's so prevalent in the game. Needs stamping out IMO

I got grabbed in the penalty area once, its really painful.
Shirt pulling has to stop, THIS IS NOT FOOTBALL, or cricket. 'Really annoying and if Vertongen or any others in the team are guilty of it, then they need discipline.

Reckon it is going to be a near impossible thing to stop - they have let things go on far too long - completely unsporting behaviour!

It can be stopped, by the refs actually standing up to it. But at the moment it seems like it's not being something they've been briefed to focus on. The other issue is the media need to back referees who give the penalties. Because we know 505 we be filled with "if you give that you have to give a million penalties and that would just ruin the game" etc

Is unsporting? of course it isn't. Football 99% isn't a sporting game. You deliberately take somebody down as a last man as a sacrifice? It's seen as a smart team player. The ref makes a decision against you? You complain to the ref as if he's an idiot. Provided you don't do it excessively or completely aggressively it's seen as completely acceptable behaviour.

Some one should point him in the direction of JACOMO........tight bastard, buy yer own , stop tryin to nick the shirts of the backs of opposition players, I'm sure Manure pay you enough.
