Small Gaggle of PL clubs after Clinton N'jie

Spursex

Alert Team
He's been in rare form in France and there really is said to be 5 clubs after him in the PL.

If he's matured, and improved as much as it's said he has, he could make a small tidy sum from our pefcentage sell on - but would it make up for the embarrassment if he does come back and rips up the PL?!

:eek!::sick::hmmm:

I can barely name a player over the years that we've moved on who has proved us wrong. That's excluding the ones like Modric, Bale, Walker etc who left of their own choice. If Gylfi could have been relevant for 90 mins, rather than just stealing the headlines, he might have been the exception.

I doubt N'Jie will turn out a top 4 player which is our benchmark nowadays, but good to see some money flow in.

As nuts as this sounds; he's being compared to his countryman Samual Eto......!!!!

He looked like a player who was simply too young to be playing outside a Francophone environment whilst learning the game. It was an elementary mistake from our set up we should have brought him then loaned him back for a full season. I wonder if we have a specialist African liaison in our setup because there is talent out there that we need to get better at nurturing. He was a wasted opportunity and ditto N'kudo. Its very tough for lads to leave a continent way of life behind then overcome a move to another country and language. They look like players that took missed /missed a rung on the ladder in the acclimitisation process

Feel like he was compared to Eto'o before we signed him!

Remember he was tearing up Ligue 1 last season at the beginning. Has he been injured a lot this year?

Does seem shipping him out and signing N'Koudou might have been a mistake on their current paths.
