Slimani

Ashley should have spent some of the cash in the kitty on a full signing.

Having said that, if Slimani can be the marginal gain in 3 games, that should be enough for survival.

So they left it late and then signed an injured player.
Typical Newcastle Utd. Who is surprised.

I'm just concerned he went home during the break to see family and trained himself, he may have tried a bit hard to get fit, but made it worse...

Why let him go home when he has not even played for us. Does not make sense, should have been monitoring his fitness here.

A well placed source has confirmed that Salami is costing the club £200k a week in wages, and fees associated with the temporary move.......

Fuckin Bargain.....

Is that the same well placed source who told you the club was going to be bought by Quataris (sic), in December?

:19: :19: :19: :19:

Aye, you're well in the know.

Does it matter.Whatever the deal is,at the moment it doesnt look a good one.
Then if he plays the last 5 or 6 and makes a difference and scores the odd goal or winner in them,it wont look so bad.

If true at £200k per week, that is about £3m for his loan spell.

Bear in mind we have lost twice in 10 games, both against City. If he is a 1 goal in 3 striker, that could have been an extra 6 points. If we had those in the bank, we would be 1 win from safety.

It's the cheap way to do business for Ashley.

Looked at from a different perspective, with less of a wage premium, if Ashley had backed Rafa at the start of the season, let's say instead of Joselu for Nicolai Jørgensen, then from an accounting point of view, we could have a £20m asset at the end of the season instead of letting a loan player go. We would also probably be looking at an extra £8-10m (at least) in TV revenues.

Given that the cost of a player is amortised over the duration of their contract, Ashley would be over £5m better off (plus the value of the player) if he had backed Rafa.

Aye its the same source that told us Rafa was manager 2 days before he was announced as well, that was an easy £200 bet at 12/1.

And where is Stavely getting her money from, yep, you come across as the forum idiot again, well done...

Played 25 minutes tonight for Albania.
That's him fucked for the forseeable future then, broke every FIFA rule going since he is Algerian.

Fucking hell, what a mistake to make. Im not even going to amend it. :17:

Shows how far out of touch with the international scene I am considering I wrote a little piece about it and got the nationality right then. :68:
