Sky Sports understands…

The now infamous (or famous headline depending on whether the gossip is a target or our player) headline that every fan can`t wait to read believing that Sky Sports sources have given us a glimpse of how our club is thinking and what they might be doing heading into transfer windows.

In today`s briefing, the claim is that we`re following and scouting two of Ajax`s most promising youngsters

From what little I`ve seen and heard there is no question that right winger Kluivert, who is the 18-year-old son of former Netherlands and Barcelona striker Patrick, has been watched by Spurs for some time. It will be no surprise to many that Martin Jol is said to rate him highly.

It`s said he has been more firmly on our radar since we failed to land Zaha in the summer of 2016.

He does seem to be highly rated and perhaps some bad news for us is that he hasn`t gone unnoticed by the 'Special one`.

Back in May he sought kluivert out after the Europa Cup final and according to the Manchester city news managed to convince him that he`d have a bright future with Manchester United. Someone seems to have done a credible job lip reading;

As for Donny, he`s a box to box midfielder, aged 20 and looks to be really beginning to put in some impressive performances.

Both look like they wouldn`t be amiss in their squad, but if we`re going to pip Manchester United to them, we`re going to have to get Poch to do some pretty smart sweet talking, that according to lore he does so well.

Seems Poch still wants this winger type player brought in. After N'jie failing and N'Kou not getting a look in we are still looking for that player capable of breaking through into the first team.

Zaha was never my favourite, but under Poch he would have improved a hell of a lot.
