Sky Sports changes

[Skoorb]

Sky Sports are set to make changes to how they broadcast and charge for access to their sports channels.

So if you have Sky and are only interested in following the football coverage there is a possibility that you may be able to save money by ditching Latvian chess 3rd division games and Bolivian Lacrosse championships then check this out......

I may be phoning them back soon as I rang the other day to discuss my bill, asked about this impending possible change and was told flat out by the guy on the phone that he knew nothing about it and that the discount he was offering was the best deal I found get. I found that hard to believe (the call centre staff would be kept well up to date with significant changes to the composition of tv packages in the pipeline, especially this close to implementation). But I accepted his word.

If I find that I could have gotten a cheaper deal by waiting a week I will NOT be amused. :019: :018:

I think they are losing money to other pay to view services, who offer cheaper packages and more customised tailoring

I will be contacting them again and raise a stink if I could be on a cheaper package with only the channel showing PL football :018:

It Has Begun........and someone has stolen their desk so the presenters on Sky Sports News have to stand up next to something that resembles a poseur table as if they are in a bar
